Family Business - Role of Youngsters by Dr Piramal

What We have:

  1. Family Values will be High
  2. Joint Family - When one gets graduated & become a Dr, how must he share his income? As his education expense was met from Joint Family! Answer is: Income must also be contributed back to the Joint Family
  3. Till last few years, none have taken steps to go meet the CONSUMERS & find their product feedback & improvements identified
  4. Previous Generations were HONEST, Followed Tradition / Values & never cared for the world & what it thinks about them

Problem Presently Facing:

  1. One's Prestige comes from the individual & not thru his/her wearable brands
  2. Buying Apple Phone is not Pride but, it's adding to some one's wealth, When will you start a brand equal to Apple or better to it?
  3. If Local Business is not good, why venture to Global countries ?
  4. If Pakisthan has Law & Order problem, let it be, the citizen over there can use Internet buy a product from Germany & sell it to Russia
  5. Never thinking BIG! If an International Expo is happening & your product brochure need to be distributed, for which a Senior Manager of your company can fly, but you keep going & keep circulating brochures
  6. Present Geneeration is DIRECTIONLESS but very SMART

LEARN TO IMPRESS OTHERS BUT DON'T GET IMPRESSED BY OTHERS

Indian Scenario:

  1. India Has Explosion of Opportunity, Next Generation are HUNGRY for GROWTH, Minimum 25 years will be required to full fill the Hunger
  2. Indian  Companies are the best in the world
  3. Family Businesses will lead the race
  4. But Technology is not updated
  5. Flexibility to Diversify / Grab Opportunity strength is more in family business
  6. We have been tought / advertised by keeping Foreigner as ROLE MODEL, Eg: Bill Gates Foundation, simlilarly Birla / Wipro Premji / Tatas have done the same
  7. Family Injected with cunning / Selfish Values, I'm Brilliant, i need more pay else i'll start my own business
  8. We've been taught to throw old products & keep buying new products
  9. Raksha Bandhan is a festival which is done no where in the world but that culture is being replaced with Valentine Day, Birthday we cut CAKES, which is not our culture food & forget to get blessings & go to temple
Realize CONTRIBUTION:

Remember, its not the Soldier in front who fights the enemies & win the battle but, behind working COOK is also contributing to the success

Need of the Hour:

  1. Ability to THINK more - Practice
  2. Build Character
  3. Confidence: Don't Worry, Believe in what you think
  4. Courage: To Speak & do what you feel is correct
  5. Conviction: Have FAITH in your ideas
  6. Compassion: If you have earned money - Spend / Save & do Charity in it

Don'ts @ an Interview

There are Pointers on what ONE  must do while preparing for an Interview:

Preparation for an Interview:

  1. Do Not Ignore the Call
  2. Acknowledge straight away
  3. Answer or call back to Phone Call
  4. If you are unable to attend, give Genuine reasons, No Employer is sitting Idle
  5. Do Not arrive late
  6. Do a TEST RUN to the Venue - Time Calculation and Location Identification
  7. Be 15 Min ahead of the schedule time
  8. Don't Look Disheveled - Avoid Badly Dressed-Shirt Half Tucked in- Un Polished / Faded Foot wear / Un shaven look
  9. Don't walk in EMPTY HANDED, take your certificates
  10. Be Brief & to the point
  11. Say 2-3 lines of your DREAM JOB
  12. Don't Keep your phone switched off, keeping looking often, keep in silent mode
  13. Don't speak badly about your ex-employer-it tells badly of your behavior & you don't know, if any of the Panel Interviewers are friends / relatives
  14. Don't be Rude or Arrogant to the panelists
  15. Don't under value your self, it will highly impact on your pay
  16. Don't be desperate to take the OFFER, take some time to think & revert back within stipulated
  17. Don't ask personal information about interviewers, eg: attending interview through mutual reference. This will affect other Panelists
Finally:

Reports suggest that despite having adequate academic skills for employment candidates fail miserably when it comes to communication and other necessary soft skills. If you need to sell your self, package yourself better than the candidate behind you in queue.

Basic Vaasthu - An Outline

Recently finalized a tenant (Who doesn't see Vaasthu aspects) for one of our properties!

Anyhow, Make sure the below basics are adopted,

  1. Never have Toilets in North East
  2. Tallest Point of the building must be in South West
  3. Sump best location is in North East
  4. Water Storage Tank for any building suitable on South West
  5. Never have Toilets on South West

Remedies:

  1. If you can't relocate the toilets from North East, then make sure the bathing alone is done and remove the EWC/IWC
  2. If The head room /  Tallest point is not in South West, then us a mild fabrication work to form a pillar looking like a cell phone tower (this is to bring height level to top) and place a pyramid on top of it

When you Rent a building, the tenants will look for the above, as their living / business / health / Finance must be always GLORIFYING
