Don'ts @ an Interview

There are Pointers on what ONE  must do while preparing for an Interview:

Preparation for an Interview:

  1. Do Not Ignore the Call
  2. Acknowledge straight away
  3. Answer or call back to Phone Call
  4. If you are unable to attend, give Genuine reasons, No Employer is sitting Idle
  5. Do Not arrive late
  6. Do a TEST RUN to the Venue - Time Calculation and Location Identification
  7. Be 15 Min ahead of the schedule time
  8. Don't Look Disheveled - Avoid Badly Dressed-Shirt Half Tucked in- Un Polished / Faded Foot wear / Un shaven look
  9. Don't walk in EMPTY HANDED, take your certificates
  10. Be Brief & to the point
  11. Say 2-3 lines of your DREAM JOB
  12. Don't Keep your phone switched off, keeping looking often, keep in silent mode
  13. Don't speak badly about your ex-employer-it tells badly of your behavior & you don't know, if any of the Panel Interviewers are friends / relatives
  14. Don't be Rude or Arrogant to the panelists
  15. Don't under value your self, it will highly impact on your pay
  16. Don't be desperate to take the OFFER, take some time to think & revert back within stipulated
  17. Don't ask personal information about interviewers, eg: attending interview through mutual reference. This will affect other Panelists
Finally:

Reports suggest that despite having adequate academic skills for employment candidates fail miserably when it comes to communication and other necessary soft skills. If you need to sell your self, package yourself better than the candidate behind you in queue.
